Boiler servicing & repair in Warwick

Annual services that keep the warranty valid, and repairs that start with a diagnosis rather than a parts lottery.

The annual service nobody wants to think about

A boiler service is like a dental check-up. Boring, quickly forgotten, and dramatically cheaper than the alternative. Almost every manufacturer warranty requires one a year, and the ten-year cover people pay extra for quietly dies the year the service gets skipped.

Ours is the proper version: casing off, flue gas analysis, gas pressure checked, seals inspected, condensate trap cleaned, safety devices tested. You get told what we found in plain English, including the honest "it's all fine" when it is.

A tip you're welcome to use against us: book your service in summer. Demand is low, you're not freezing while the boiler's apart, and any part that needs ordering arrives before you actually need the heating.

Repairs and fault finding

  • Fault codes diagnosed, with the meter and analyser, not guesswork
  • No heating or no hot water
  • Boilers losing pressure or cutting out
  • Leaks from the boiler or nearby pipework
  • Banging, kettling and gurgling noises
  • Repairs on all major makes of gas boiler

Losing pressure is the classic. Nine times out of ten it's a small leak somewhere on the system or a tired expansion vessel, not the boiler itself. Both are fixable without drama, but topping it up every week and hoping isn't a plan. The leak's still there, and it's usually under a floor finding something expensive to drip on.

If the diagnosis says the boiler's genuinely done, we'll say so and quote a replacement. And if it's worth fixing, we'll say that instead. We do both, which keeps the advice honest.

Questions

Servicing and repairs, answered

How often should I service my boiler?

Yearly. It's a warranty condition on nearly every boiler and the cheapest insurance you can buy against a winter breakdown. See our service cost guide for what you should expect to pay and what should be included.

The boiler's showing a fault code. Restart it?

Once. If the code comes back, stop and call with the code and the boiler make handy. Repeated resets can compound the original fault.

No heating at all. Is that an emergency?

In winter, or in a home with kids or anyone vulnerable, yes. Use the 24/7 emergency line and we'll get to you as fast as the day allows.

When did the boiler last see an engineer?

If you had to think about it, it's due. Book a service before winter books it for you.
