Plumber in Stratford-upon-Avon
Down the A46 from Warwick. Far enough that we'll be honest about travel time, close enough that we're there most weeks anyway.
Old town, old pipes
Stratford's charm is its age, and its plumbing agrees. The town centre and the streets around it are full of period properties where the plumbing has been extended, patched and "improved" for a century or more. Imperial pipe meets metric, lead occasionally meets copper, and the stop tap is wherever a Victorian thought was funny. We enjoy these houses. You learn to bring more fittings than the job should need.
Further out, the estates from the 60s onwards are more predictable, and the plumbing problems are the familiar ones: tired boilers, silted radiators, bathrooms overdue a refit.
Holiday lets and second homes
Stratford has more holiday lets per street than anywhere else we cover, and they're a specific kind of customer: the owner's often not local, the changeover windows are tight, and a dripping tap in a five-star listing becomes a three-star review by the weekend. We do responsive repairs between guests, annual gas safety certificates for lets, and the seasonal jobs like insulating and protecting pipework before winter voids.
Straight about the distance
Warwick to Stratford is about 25 minutes. For emergencies, that matters: if you've got water pouring through a ceiling, a good Stratford-based plumber who can be there in ten minutes beats us, and we'll say so on the phone. For everything you can book, the distance is irrelevant, our prices don't change, and you get the same plumber, the same guarantee and the same shoes-off, clean-up-after service the Warwick customers get.
