Why one fitter beats three trades
Here's the thing nobody tells you about bathroom refits: the plumbing is rarely the hard part. The hard part is coordination. The tiler who can't start because the plumber's late. The electrician booked for a shower circuit that isn't ready. Three trades, three diaries, and you in the middle chasing all of them.
LMC runs the whole project. Luke does the plumbing and installation himself and brings in the tiler and electrician at the right moments, so the job moves in one straight line. What a full installation includes
- Design and layout help, including honest advice on what your space can and can't do
- Strip-out and disposal of the old suite
- All plumbing and pipework, including moving things if the new layout needs it
- Showers, baths, wet rooms and walk-in enclosures
- Coordination of tiling, electrics and any other trades
- Finishing: sealing, trims and the fiddly last details that make it look right
Wet rooms and awkward spaces
Small bathrooms are a Warwick speciality, whether you like it or not. A lot of the housing stock here is Victorian terraces and 1930s semis with bathrooms built for people who apparently never owned towels. We've made good bathrooms out of very small rooms, and a compact wet room often works where a bath never quite did.
One honest caveat: older houses hide surprises. Rotten joists under a leaky old shower tray, lead pipe where copper should be, walls that were last flat in 1935. We price fairly for what we can see and tell you straight away if we find something we couldn't, with options and costs before any extra work starts.
What it costs
Every bathroom is different, so we quote each job individually and the quote is free. As a rough guide, a like-for-like refit costs a lot less than a full redesign with a wet room, and the suite you choose swings the total more than anything we charge. Tell us your budget honestly and we'll tell you what it can get. We'd rather fit a sensible mid-range suite well than talk you into one you'll resent paying for.

The week without a bathroom
A refit means living without that bathroom while the work happens. We plan around it: the toilet goes back in service as early as possible, the water never stays off overnight, and if it's your only bathroom we sequence the work to keep you functional.
It'll still be a slightly annoying week. Anyone who promises otherwise is fibbing. What we can promise is a schedule you can trust and a fitter who turns up every day until it's done, because nothing drags like a half-finished bathroom and a vanished tradesman.

How long will it take?
One to two weeks for a straightforward refit. Wet rooms, layout changes and older-property surprises add time. Your quote comes with a realistic schedule, not an optimistic one.
Can I supply my own suite?
Yes, and lots of people do. Send us what you're planning to order first though. We've seen enough bargain sanitaryware to know which ones fight back during fitting.
Do you do small jobs too, like replacing a basin?
Yes. Not every job is a full refit, and swapping a basin, bath or toilet is bread-and-butter work. See plumbing repairs for the smaller stuff.
