The short version: we only use your details to do your job and answer your enquiry. Here's the longer version.
Who we are
LMC Plumbing & Maintenance is a sole-trader plumbing business based in Warwick, England, run by Luke Coen. For anything about this policy or your data, contact LMCPlumbing92@gmail.com or 07565 917596.
What we collect and why
- Contact details (name, phone, email, address): to respond to enquiries, provide quotes, book and carry out work, and invoice for it
- Job details (what needs doing, photos you send, property access notes): to do the work properly
- Records of completed work (invoices, certificates such as CP12 gas safety records): kept because tax law and gas safety regulations require it
The lawful bases are performance of a contract (doing your job), legal obligation (tax and gas safety records), and legitimate interest (responding to your enquiry).
What we don't do
We don't sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to mailing lists. We'll only contact you about your enquiry or your job. This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no trackers.
Who your data might be shared with
Only where the job needs it: for example, a tiler or electrician working on your project (your address and access details), the Gas Safe notification scheme for boiler installations, or an accountant for tax records. Never for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details that don't become jobs: up to a year, then deleted. Job and invoice records: six years, as HMRC requires. Gas safety records: at least two years, as the regulations require.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion (where no legal retention duty applies). Email LMCPlumbing92@gmail.com and it'll be sorted. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
